Respect
First and foremost, every member of the Kabal should treat each other with respect. We are a brotherhood, therefore should act like one. We ask that each member treat each other with the same respect that they would like to receive
Sense of Humor
You must have a sense of humor to join the Kabal. A lot of
time, you will see us joking around with each other,
"busting" on each other etc.. but it is all in good fun. If you can't take a joke, and get offended easily, then this is not the guild for you.
Aiding one another
A member of the Kabal should always be willing to aid one
another. This could be by inviting a member into your group,
providing buffs etc to a guildmate whom is close by, or helping a
member out with a quest. Remember, the guild is only as strong as
our weakest member.
Guild Allies
We will treat all allies of the guild with the same respect that you would a fellow guildie. If for some reason an ally does not warrant our respect, contact an officer before action is taken.
Equipment
The Kabal is not in the business of equipping individuals with high end gear. We are in the business if equipping the GUILD. Begging with not be tolerated. If you need help completing an "epic" quest etc, there are proceedures in place to request help. We are also using a modified DKP system, which means individuals who attend raids and help the guild in other aspects will have more points to spend on loot.
Be Evil, but don't be a jackass
We have no problems if you kill a few players, or even a few hundred, but if you start spamming the chat channels, telling people how "leet" you are, you will get booted. Remember, your actions reflect on the entire guild.
Leaving the Guild
If a member leaves the guild, either voluntarily or through the decision of the officers, then all of your alternate characters must leave the guild. If a member of the guild sells his or her account, we ask that you remove your guild tag before doing so.
In-Guild Difficulties
If you are having difficulties, problems or concerns or there
is some disturbance that would create an aggressive situation that
would cause you to rashly quit the guild, please take the time to
either talk to myself or another officer before doing anything so
hasty. We do not make a practice of reinviting folks who have
mistakenly removed themselves from the guild in anger. MOST
PROBLEMS CAN BE WORKED OUT...Remember, guild chat, forums or teamspeak/ventrilo is not the place to voice your concerns, you must speak to an officer, who will try to resolve the problem. Remember, there are always 3 sides to any story. It is an officers duty to listen to the facts, and not blindly side with someone because they are higher rank.
Listen to the officers
If an officers asks you to do something, please do your best to do it in a timely fashion. You may not agree with what is being asked, but there is a reason, which may not be known to you at that exact moment. An example might be is an officer asks you to stay parked on a corpse (search is but not take any items). They may do this if someone notices "someone" who is not part of the Raid shadowing the guild. This person may be a potential ninja looter .
Raid Conduct
In a raid, we are expected to conduct ourselves in a professional manner. You must listen to the Raid Leaders/Officers at all times, and only use the raid channel for official raid business. This basically means we don't want to see links for items that aer being sold in an auction channel. Remember, 90% of the time, the people who die on raids, or who cause raids to fail are the ones who do not listen to whats going on.
DKP and items
We will be using a modified DKP system for distributing loot. You can view more about this policy in our DKP explained section.
Keep it quiet
What's said in the guild, stays in the guild. If we are planning a raid or event, or are discussing something internal to the guild, we do not want to see our plans or discussions posted all over Blizzard's website.
Have Fun
This is by far the most important rule. The game should be entertaining, not a chore. We are all here to have fun. If you have any ideas on how we can have more fun as a guild, let us know.
